The oldest motorcycle company in continuous production, Royal Enfield made its first motorcycle in 1901. After being trusted by the Indian Army for more than 50 years, Royal Enfield is all set to launch the new motorcycle which they say has been made for the mountains – Himalayan.

On-Road Price (Mumbai) for Royal Enfield Himalayan – 1,78,872 INR
Food for thought – Royal Enfield was UK based company which began business as weapon manufacturer in 1901. In the present day, Eicher India holds more than 50% of the shares and the bikes are manufactured and sold in India and exported to other parts of the globe.
Royal Enfield Himalayan Color Options
The bike is supposed to be launched in two colors – Snow and Granite. I personally liked the snow color, but the granite color is also a good choice. The snow-colored variant looks new and refreshing, and I don’t think so I have seen a bike with this greyish color tint recently. It’s mostly green or red or blue all around.
Royal Enfield is claiming Himalayan to be the most versatile bike manufactured by them. The bike comes with luggage mounting points and a 15-litre fuel tank. The engineer in the video talked about Long Stroke 410 engine, which provides strong low-end torque to clear obstacles and a wide usable power to suit all riding conditions.
